The tattoo murder case - Akimitsu Takagi
pages: 324 published: 1948
Kenzo is a young aspiring doctor in Tokyo. He attends a Tattoo convention for work related research, and meets a young woman (Kinue) with an extraordinary tattoo covering her back. Kenzo quickly falls for the charms of the young woman. When the young woman's severed arms and legs are found in her home, Kenzo is determined to help the detective in charge of the case, who is none other than his brother.
I don't know what it is about Japanese crime fiction. I'm a sucker for it. The characters are more subtle and the plot generally have a better twist than our european crime.
